A number of cases were on the docket for the Supreme Court, including ones focusing on elections, religious liberty, copyright, and interstate commerce. The cases impact the lives of millions of Americans.

One of the most highly-anticipated cases that the justices will hear is a challenge to the consideration of race in college admissions.

Newly sworn-in Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, said that she would recuse herself from the affirmative action case challenging Harvard’s admissions. Jackson went to Harvard for undergrad and for law school.
