Grassley releases report on US ambassador to India nominee Eric Garcetti and says he will lift hold on nomination

GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa released a staff report Tuesday concluding that Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, the Biden administration’s nominee to be US ambassador to India, “likely knew, or should have known,” that his former political adviser Rick Jacobs “was sexually harassing multiple individuals and making racist comments towards others.”
