Democrats plan to plow ahead on Supreme Court fight despite absence of key senator

Senate Democrats are signaling for now they won’t slow down or alter plans to swiftly vet and confirm a new Supreme Court nominee, but they may be forced to change their strategy and approach if Sen. Ben Ray Luján is absent from Washington for an extended period of time after suffering a stroke.
