Jury in Kim Potter trial asks court what happens if it can’t reach consensus

A jury on Tuesday asked what happens if a consensus on a verdict cannot be reached in the manslaughter trial of Kim Potter, the White former Minnesota police officer who says she mistook her firearm for her Taser and fatally shot Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, in April.
