Asus is expanding its ROG Strix lineup with two new monitors aimed at gamers and streamers, including a specialized 12.3-inch secondary display. The ROG Strix XG129C is designed to sit below a primary screen or serve as a dedicated interface for apps like Discord and OBS, positioning the company as a direct competitor to specialized productivity gear like Elgato’s Stream Deck series.

The compact monitor features an ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it more than just a static control panel. Its design allows it to function as a versatile companion for multitasking, whether it is used for monitoring system performance or managing a live broadcast without tabbing out of a game.

Alongside the smaller display, Asus also unveiled a new 34-inch flagship monitor featuring a Tandem QD-OLED panel. This high-end display promises superior brightness and 1440p resolution, catering to enthusiasts who want premium color accuracy and HDR performance. The tandem technology is intended to boost longevity and peak luminance compared to standard OLED screens.
