A possibly hostile environment at a college in Massachusetts reportedly forced an employee to quit.

In recent reports, former staffer Jodi Shaw said “critical race theory tactics” are dominating Smith College and forcing employees to stereotype white women as privileged and black women as powerless. She went on to add, the “psychological abuse” she faced for simply questioning these divisive measures gave her no choice but to resign.

In a recent interview, a professor from Cornell University warns critical race theory is being used not to end racism, but to advance a far-left socialist agenda.

“It perpetuates what’s been going on. They claim it’s negative, so I think what’s the downside…it brands people who are not racist as racist because that’s the way they’ve constructed it,” stated William Jacobsen, professor at Cornell University. “It demonizes large sections of the campus and it doesn’t change any minds. I don’t know how it could get any worse than that.”

While Smith College reportedly offered Jodi Shaw compensation to stay quiet, she rejected it and is now filing a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination.

“I make $45,000 a year; less than a year’s tuition for a Smith student,” Shaw explained. “I was offered a settlement in exchange for my silence, but I turned it down.”
